Welcome Dinner
Join Performers Hershey Felder and Jonathan Silvestri at Ristorante Pancrazio for a historic dinner, nestled amidst the historic ruins of the Theater of Pompey on the spot where it is said that Caesar was murdered. In a trip back in time, Hershey and Jonathan, in character, will take you to Caesar and the world of Shakespeare, along with special guest Shaul Bassi, internationally renowned Shakespeare scholar and professor at Venice’s Ca’ Foscari University, known for his work on “Shakespeare’s Italy.” This unique setting, steeped in history and culinary heritage offers an unforgettable taste of both the past and present, against the backdrop of one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, where the echoes of Julius Caesar’s era still linger in the air.

Opening the Vatican – Keys to the Chapels with the Swiss Guard – 6am Tour & Breakfast in the Vatican Garden Cafe
As dawn breaks over Vatican City, the Key Master undertakes the solemn task of unlocking the hallowed halls of the Vatican Museums, granting privileged access to our group, for an unprecedented morning experience. Embark on a captivating journey through the galleries, including the revered Sistine Chapel, before the arrival of the bustling crowds, culminating in a delightful breakfast in the serene ambiance of the Vatican Garden Cafe, complete with the effervescent charm of prosecco.
Gala Dinner at Palazzo Doria Pamphilij
The Galleria Doria Pamphilj is one of the largest private collections of internationally renowned art in the world. Guests are treated to a private tour of the glorious historic 15th century palace and its artistic treasures from Caravaggio to Poussin and more. Following the private tour guests are invited to “Opening Night Celebratory Private Gala Dinner” in the Palace’s historic Ballroom which will feature guest musical performances, Roman chef’s dinner and dancing surrounded by the world’s greatest art.

Embark on a cinematic journey through the heart of Italian film history at Cinecittà, a sprawling lot south of Rome’s historic center followed by lunch. As you step into this magical “city,” you’ll be immersed in the captivating world of cinema, where iconic movies and historical events from the studio’s illustrious 80-year history come to life before your eyes.
Villa Medici
Your evening will begin with a walk up Rome’s historic Spanish Steps, arriving at the storied Villa Medici overlooking all of Rome. Cardinal Ferdinando I de’ Medici initiated the Medici family’s Roman influence in the 16th century by purchasing this Roman villa, which later became the seat of the French Academy in Rome from 1803. You will receive a privately guided tour of the villa museum and the grounds followed by dinner overlooking all of Rome and enjoy a classical music performance by leading artists.

Lunch and wine tasting at Mazzei with special host tour of the archives
An experience at the center of the Mazzei World. Filippo Mazzei (1730-1816) was an Italian Physician, a winemaker and an arms dealer. He was also a close friend of Thomas Jefferson who acted as an arms agent to buy weapons for Virginia during the Revolutionary War. Jefferson later brought Mazzei’s vines to America, but more importantly, several years before the Declaration of Independence was written, “All Men Are Created Equal” appeared in Mazzei’s own hand and was then paraphrased by Jefferson who discussed ideas of liberty and equality with Mazzei at length. Today Mazzei’s historic winery is still in the hands of family descendants who bear the same names as their ancestors. A visit to their private archives where one can see American relationships is mesmerizing, as is a tour and a meal at the winery – all while meeting the Mazzei family themselves.
